Evening Out 2021

I was inspired to paint “Evening Out 2021” after finally going out to dinner for the first time in nearly two years. The date was December 16, 2021, and the place was Casa Loma Toronto—one of my favorites. I’m looking forward to the day when scenes like the one in my painting will become something for the history books.

Monica Burnside is a dedicated painter of landscapes, plein air, still life, and portraiture. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Fine Arts Society of Milton, and was elected Vice President of the Colour and Form Society of Toronto in 2019. Burnside has participated in numerous juried shows in Ontario since 2004.
I love this painting! Casa Loma is a wonderful place to visit, too.
